SAT and ACT Information

The SAT and ACT are tests used by colleges as part of admissions requirements. Most four year colleges accept either the SAT or the ACT. As counselors, we typically encourage students to take each test during their junior year. Since many students generally find that they score better on one than the other, we recommend that students retest on the one they do best on for a chance to raise their score. Links to both the SAT and ACT website are listed below. There are also general instructions for test registration and study tips.
